What's it all about? County Explorer Scout Activity Weekend ('CESAW') is a weekend for Explorers to camp - without their leaders - and do lots of different activities. The Explorers are responsible for planning the weekend and taking care of themselves:
There is adult support at the weekend, but it's very much a get on with it affair! The weekend is run alongside "CPCW" an event for Scouts (County Patrol Camping Weekend). In 2007, we had around 450 Scouts & Explorers taking part - want to be in on the action for this year .... read on!! When is it? CESAW 2008 runs from 3 to 5 October 2008 and will be held at Youlbury Scout Activity Centre. I'm a leader and would like to help Great. The event needs about 40-50 staff to run over the weekend. Adult support is needed in all sorts of areas - Zones, Activities, Toilet cleaning (!) - no skills unused. E-mail to let us know: cesaw@scoutsoxon.org.uk. |
